I grew up high in the mountains of Montana, where winters are mean and chores don’t care how cold your fingers get. You learn early that life doesn’t hand you anything. If you want it, you work for it.
I rode that lesson straight into the arena lights...
all the way to becoming one of the
Top 50 professional bareback riders in the world.
The roar of the crowd, the cameras, the adrenaline kicking beneath me…
it was everything a kid like me ever dreamed about.
Then pain showed up.
Not from one big wreck.
Not a dramatic moment with a doctor rushing onto the dirt.
Just a slow, tightening ache in my back. Every week it got worse, until riding wasn’t excitement anymore—
it was agony.
Instead of signing autographs and being interviewed on TV after big rides…
I spent two years sitting in waiting rooms, staring at clinic walls.
15 doctors.
Every one of them looked at me like my future was already over.
“You’ll never ride again.
You’ll never do anything physical again.”
Take the pills.
Live with the pain.
Find a normal life.
But I didn’t grow up in a place where “normal life” is something you settle for.
I didn’t want a paycheck.
I wanted my life back.
So I did something that made absolutely no sense to anyone but me:
I became a personal trainer.
Not to help others.
Not to start a business.
I did it to fix myself.
I put the certification fee on a credit card because I wasn’t working, wasn’t riding, and I sure wasn’t earning. My friends thought I’d gone crazy.
What I learned cracked the whole story wide open.
Doctors fix bones.
Chiropractors adjust vertebrae.
But I didn’t have a spine problem…
I had a muscle problem — and no one was treating it.
And since I could no longer train hard like an athlete, I had to learn how to train smart.
That’s when I found the Fat-Loss Zone.
Not for weight loss.
Not for vanity.
But for healing.
A precise zone where the body burns fat without breaking down muscle, protects the joints, and rebuilds instead of destroys.
So I tested it on the only lab rat I had: me.
In 82 days, something wild happened.
I didn’t just heal…
I dropped from 22% body fat to 4.3%,
lost 33 pounds,
and built those ripped Rodeo Abs that millions would later see on TV.
That system put me back in the arena.
It won me a National Championship on FOX Sports.
It became the Lose 12-Inch Program, the one that helped more than 40,000 people transform their bodies and their comeback.
That same system took me to ABC’s Shark Tank, where Daymond John became my business partner.
It led to CNBC, Forbes, Entrepreneur Magazine, Spike TV with Jillian Michaels… all from a cowboy just trying to get his life back.
Truth is, I never wanted to be a trainer.
I never dreamed of building gyms.
I didn’t chase fame or cameras.
Life cornered me.
Pain broke me.
And the truth rebuilt me.
Now it’s my turn to hand that truth to somebody else who refuses to settle.
Life didn’t give me a second chance.
I had to fight for it, earn it, and build it with my own two hands.
And now I’m here, looking you straight in the eye, telling you the truth most people never hear:
You don’t need perfect genetics.
You don’t need fancy workouts.
You don’t need to be young, strong, or pain-free.
You just need the right method —
a smarter way to train that protects your joints, rebuilds your body, and gives you your life back…
... the same way it gave mine back.
So if you’re tired of hurting, tired of feeling stuck, tired of believing the best days are behind you…
Then it’s time.
Your comeback starts now.
And I’m going to ride it with you every step. 🤠🔥
